I have been so busy lately I have had no time for myself. I just finished up a program I was taking called The Pathway Youth Employment Program as well as coordinating an art show and being one of the artist, submitting ten peices of art and modeling in a costume/hair show all for one event called the Bipolar Babe Variety Show. All the proceeds went to the Bipolar Disorder Society of BC. I had a fantastic time putting on the art show, collecting a vast varety of art from many bipolar youth and youth who have struggled with mental illness. All in all I collected fifty-four hanging peices of art and six peices of 3D art, including origami and clothing design peices. The show was a great success and I had load of fun walking the runway in the costume/hair show segment of the event. I was dressed as I lion and my hair was all back combed like a huge lions mayn it was awsome! I have also been busy with shoots and finally got the photos back from my latest shoot with Morgan Turner which was an absolutly amazing experience and I have been called back to do another hair show for Joico and Moods Hair Salon which i'm totally stoked for! Videos, Photos and links will be posted at a later date. Toodles for now! :)
Yours truly,
-Jenny

Painting and positive changes. . .
Hey, it's been quite a while since I last updated. I have been so busy with runway shows and making some really big, positive changes in my life. I'm currently creating a series of paintings in hopes of finally getting off my ass and putting on an art show; I have been putting it off for far to long. I guess I have been concentraiting more on the modeling side of things rather than the painting side of things for the past few months. I think I have found a way to juggle all my creative asperaitions but I haven't perfected it yet :P I have a few more shoots coming up, i'm planning a snake shoot with Morgan turner and a pin-up shoot with Dani Boynton. I am also hoping to get some portfolio work done with a photographer in town here who is really very talented and have access to mountins of wardrobe :) I need to update my portfolio with some strong new looks, seeing as my appearance is changes so often. I still have more photos to upload and more photos that I havn't gotten back from some photographers yet, so hopefully I can get those up soon. I'll make sure to update again in a few days time, bye for now.

The Hair show, and my finished hair!
I got up at 5:30am today and got ready to head to hair, makeup and rehersal for 7:00am. The show was held at Rocky Mounteneer Station and it was an absolutly AMAZING show! We started our portion of the hair show at 1:30pm so all in all I spent about five and a half hours in hair and makeup, and an hour in rehersal and wardrobe. My hair ended up being cut and styled on stage by a colligue of Chad's named Shane. He is a really great hair dresser and I like my hair even more now that it's all finished. Everyone just looked so beautiful, the transformation on all the models was just astonishing. They were turned from already beautiful girls into drop dead gorgous models. I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but once I stepped on stage I felt right at home, I felt like this is something I am meant to do. This was a really fantastic experiance and I can't wait to do it again. Joico is having another show in Victoria sometime soon, and they asked me if I would like to be in their show. They asked me for my number and told me they would call me, so hopefully they call me sometime in the near future. I have gained a lot of confedance from this ecperiance and I feel as though I have learned a lot about myself and how to stay confedant and in a good head space. I wont let anything hold me back, and I will never stop trying! I never thought I would be here doing this, but even though i'm short, have scars and am a little more curvey than most models I still have worked with some pretty amazing people in the fashion idustry. It just goes to show you that you really can do anything if you put your mind to it. My goal is to create art in all forms, with no limitations and I will stop at nothing to acheive that goal. I should be getting some photos from back stage in the next few days and hopefully some photos of the show. I had a few videos from our trip to Vancouver but I am unable to post them due to technical problems, I will however post more photos at a later date. I'll update again soon, but for now I must go as I have to get up early once again and catch the Ferry back to Victoria, Home sweet home.

New hair!
I got my hair done today and had an awsome time working with the Moods hair salon and Joico crew and I also got to meet the other models. Everyone there was pretty cool and you wouldn't believe all of the talent that these people had. I arrived at On the fringe at 9:00am and got crazy colours put in my hair and a rough cut, the rest will be cut on stage tomorrow as half the show is deminstrastion and the other walking and showing off the hair. Here are some pictures of the hair cut and colour I got today. I think it's awsome, comment and let me know what you think! Good night every on I have to go to sleep now as I have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. P.S. The colours are brighter in person, the camera darkened it a bit.
Quick update!
Hey all, this is just a quick update as I need to get up early in the morning. I arrived in Vancouver this moring and everything is going awsome so far! I managed to get some cool photos and videos so far which I will post tomorrow. Hair show!
Well some of you may know that I recently traveled to Vancouver for a casting call for a hairshow. It took quite a bit of preperation and a lot of scrambling around and last minute changes. There were even a couple of times that I wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to get there, but luckily with a tremendus amount of help from family, friends and a couple of really awsome models, I made the trip work. I ended up taking the ferry with Mike and Mia and we traveled to Yale town by car from the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal. Along the way we got to see quite a few interesting things, including a man named Elvis and Various strange yet intriguing statues. I really wish I could have gotten a hold of a camera, but that was the last thing on my mind. Mike, Mia and I ended up browsing the shops and killing time before went to go meet Nicole Mortenson, who gave me some really helpful tips and made me feel confedant before the casting call. Jessica Schafer had met with me about a week or so prier back in Victoria and really helped me a great deal as well. When it came for me to go Moods hair Salon I went to the front desk and told the receptionist I was there for the casting call and then sat in the waiting room. Models gradually began to show up and the room bagan to fill. I was nervous at first but I kept thinking of what I had talked about with Nicole and Jessica and quickly felt confedant again. We were then lead to a back room in Moods and we were met by a representative of Joico hair products. I stayed cool and calm and managed to keep good posture and eye contact. I felt a confedance I hadn't in years. The casting call went extreamly well and I will be participating in the hairshow in Vancouver on the 18th of April. Plus I got to see a really kick ass haircut that i'll be getting, i'm completely stoked! My hair is going to be cut and styled by none other than Chad Taylor, who won best hair dresser in Canada in the contessa awards this year. He has also worked done work for Canada's next top model, and for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier and Victoria's seacret. Finally, I feel like i'm getting somewhere, and I can't wait until April! I'll be in Vancouver for sure on the 17th and 18th, possibly longer. I will be using my new blogg during this time to keep everyone updated on the events that are going to be taking place and hopfully will be able to post some photos and other nifty things during that time. So stay tuned for updates and wish me luck! :)
